Our work is to establish and conserve permanent native woodland in Ireland, encouraging land regeneration and biodiversity. What inspired you to work with Hometree?
As an Irish organisation, in operation for over forty years, we understand the importance of strong partnerships. Hometree legitimately care about the work they were doing, and from our first meeting we knew this was a team, effort and culture that aligned with our own mission.
To be able to play a small part in what is a very real and tangible project is something we are proud of, and that our customers enjoy discussing with us.
You will not see some of the trees you are planting reach maturity, what has inspired such a long term vision?
There is a real sense of community here in Kitchenworld, and every community has a duty of care to those coming after them.
It is a lovely message to spread to the kids and grandkids of our staff and customers that there is a forest growing in County Clare that they can visit someday, and that we contributed to its development.

Material things are transient. Place value in the people & relationship you have in your life, not the things.
