Our work is to establish and conserve permanent native woodland in Ireland, encouraging land regeneration and biodiversity. What inspired you to work with Hometree?
We love what Hometree do and felt that working with them would be a great way to advance our efforts to have a positive impact on the planet.

You will not see some of the trees you are planting reach maturity, what has inspired such a long term vision?
The team at canteen want to create real, long-lasting value, to leave the planet better for the next generation. A great business last generations and longevity requires purpose, which makes it important to consider the value we contribute to the world. Our voice and resources are small but our creative energy and sense of purpose are great. We know that small everyday efforts can add up to have a big long-term impact.

Have there been any key moments you can share about how you or your organisation decided to support a more abundant and healthier world?
Running a small business doesn't leave you with a lot of time to think, but standing still during the pandemic gave us time to look at where we have come over the last 8 years, where we are at currently and what direction we want to go in the future.

Would you like to share any key lessons life has taught you?
Life's too short to eat bad food and drink bad coffee.
